Mark Edwards*

Mark C. Edwards is an AV* rated attorney whose practice focuses on business and employment law.

Mark obtained his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1978. He received his JD in 1982 from the University of California, Davis, School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the law review. Mark was also awarded an honorary doctorate in humane letters in 2016 by the California State University system for his philanthropic activities on behalf of the University.

In addition to his decades of experience in business and employment law, Mark’s community involvement has been substantial, serving on the boards of directors and in leadership positions with numerous community, arts and philanthropic organizations.

In January 2022, Mark will be retiring from the full-time practice of law, continuing with Mirau, Edwards, Cannon, Lewin & Tooke on an of-counsel basis.
